Colorado Currys

Lorraine and Craig Curry have been making music in the Roaring Fork and Colorado River valleys for over 20 years. The Colorado Currys have played their blend of folk, swing, rock, bluegrass and Irish tunes with colorful harmonies at local stages, restaurants, Farmers’ Markets and fish fries. Multi-instrumentalists, Craig performs on Mandolin, Dobro and Guitar, Lorraine on bass and ‘cello. Audiences aged 8-80 have enjoyed the eclectic variety of music that the Colorado Currys have presented.

Shayla & Mateo

Shayla & Mateo are a music duo that share a special blend of coffeehouse folk and brazen harmony, matching their earth-loving values through original songs and seasoned styles from old time Appalachia to modern Folk. Mateo Sandate is a long-time Roaring Fork Valley musician/educator who has played in numerous groups, fostered interactive workshops, and kept busy teaching in the Lead Guitar program at the Aspen Music Festival, while also running a guitar academy inside Steve’s Guitars in Carbondale.

Stone Kitchen

Stone Kitchen features original acoustic-flavored Americana music blending traditional styles of Bluegrass, Indie Folk and Outlaw Country. Stone Kitchen musicians are Portia Rogers (vocals, mandolin and guitar) and Lester Rogers (vocals, guitar, cigar box, strum stick and slide guitar).

Rumours is a vibrant acoustic trio that plays original and cover music. Their repertoire includes numerous tributes to the songs of Fleetwood Mac, following in that same folk-rock genre from the early 70’s which has gone on to influence more contemporary popular music. Together, Cole Campbell (guitar/vocals), LeAnn Campbell (vocals/percussion), and Bobby Campbell (flute/sax/percussion) combine experience and artistic expression to conjure up a unique and engaging performance. The melodies are familiar and the grooves enticing, energetically luring listeners into the musical moment.

Tim Fox Quartet

This jazz quartet features Tim Fox (piano and trumpet), Jonathan Ballou (bass), Chris Goplerud (drums), David Poulsen (trumpet. Tim is a long-time teacher with the Roaring Fork School District and with Jazz Aspen Snowmass's Educational Outreach. He played trumpet for 1½ years with the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra and has played piano regularly with various groups in and around the Roaring Fork Valley.

Pam & Dan plays an eclectic combination of favorite folk, country, and "old hippy" tunes mixed with fresh originals. Light hearted and fun this duo has been delivering Colorado style music in the valley and beyond for 10+ years, always creating a fun musical environment for the whole family. Upright bass, acoustic guitar, harmonies, with a light refreshing feel.

Oran Mor

The musical group Oran Mor adopted its name from Celtic mythology to highlight their rich repertoire of Scottish and Irish music, some from centuries past, along with more contemporary Celtic, Americana, original and familiar popular tunes that play well with audiences, young and old. Musicians Tom Cochran (guitar/vocals), Karen Mills-Cochran (guitar/recorders/vocals), Jonathan Satz (bass/vocals), and Bobby Campbell (flute/sax/percussion/vocals) feature songs rich with vocal harmonies, alluring rhythms, and tales of colorful cultures.

Rodrigo Arreguin

Guitarist and professional musician from Tijuana, Mexico, Rodrigo started playing guitar at the age of 10 and studied classical guitar for over a decade. He has been playing live music since 2005 and his repertoire encompasses different styles of music such as rock, pop, jazz, country, flamenco, Latino and many more. He’s been playing in the Roaring Fork Valley for almost 5 years, energetically pursuing his passion for making people happy and delivering a rewarding musical experience.

Johnson Mendez Bank

Chris Bank has performed in the Aspen area for over 20 years. He has taught band in the Roaring Fork Valley schools and is the director of school programs for JAS Aspen. Mark Johnson is a graduate of Berklee College of Music. He has accompanied numerous internationally known recording artists and released three recordings of his own. Josefina Méndez is from Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she started studying music at age 15, acquiring valuable jazz vocal techniques along the way. She blends north and south American styles of jazz, from swing to bossa nova. Together, this formidable collaboration finds playful and inventive approaches to many classic tunes.

With a mission to bring a fusion of new interpretations of classical, jazz and world-beat music to audiences, Valle Musico explores the confluence of these genres in unique and exciting ways.

Wild Flight is a singer songwriter duo from the mountains of Western Colorado. Eric Gross and Emily Jurick write and perform roots rock style original songs influenced by rock, blues and jazz. Performances mix in unique arrangements of classic and unusual cover songs by favorite artists.
